King Faisal Hospital Kigali is looking for 14 (fourteen ) suitable candidates to fill the following positions.
POSITION: PORTERS
COMPETENCY REQUIREMENT, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum of Advanced certificate (A2).
Two years of experience in a hospital setting.
Any other additional qualification relevant to the field is an added advantage.
KEY TECHNICAL AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
1. Ability to operate machinery, and equipment, knowledge of work procedures, safety, planning and organization.
2. Ability to stand for long periods.
3. Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
4. Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintenance of registers detailing inspection ,cleaning of wheel chairs and patient trolleys, oiling of wheels and casters
Maintain Asset register and stock taking maintained
No incidents of patients having fallen from patient trolleys because the patient restraint belts are perished, torn or never utilized
Problem equipment identified and replacement planned in consultation with the laundry manager ensure that each item of equipment is tested as per manufactures instructions
Adverse events reported and investigations conducted with conclusions and action plans available
Maintenance of registers detailing inspection ,cleaning of wheel chairs and patient trolleys, oiling of wheels and casters
Daily activity schedules filed
Maintain registers of activities
Maintenance of attendance registers with signatures and times of arriving on duty and departing at the end of the shift
In consultation with the laundry manager serving of equipment is planned
Evidence of smoothly functioning wheelchairs and patient trolleys
