Our Imaging and Diagnostic Support Services offer a range of diagnostic and imaging services, including:
- Radiography: We offer a range of radiography services, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRI scans. Our state-of-the-art equipment and experienced radiologists ensure our patients receive high-quality imaging results.
- Ultrasound: Our ultrasound services offer a non-invasive method of diagnosing various medical conditions. We provide various ultrasound services, including obstetric and gynecological, abdominal, and vascular ultrasound.
- Mammography: Our mammography services offer advanced screening and diagnostic capabilities for breast cancer. We use the latest technology to provide high-quality mammography services to our patients.
We have a high-performance, fast, silent, and Digital MRI scanner (1.5 Tesla) which serves patients referred from other healthcare facilities in the region. (Burundi, South Sudan, Tanzania, and DRC). The facility has the only CT scanner with 128 slices capacity in the country, which can perform many complex procedures, including Computed tomographic angiographies (demonstrating the vessels clearly), Virtual Colonoscopies, Bone mineral Densitometry, Virtual Bronchoscopy, CT fluoroscopy to guide interventional procedures, Dynamic studies involving the head, Chest & abdomen other Routine CT scans.
The Cathlab (Angio-suite) is the latest addition to the complex equipment. It is used by Both Radiologists & cardiologists in helping patients: with coronary diseases and other vascular diseases in the Head, Abdomen & lower limbs. We use this critical equipment in cancer Treatment by directly injecting Chemotherapy into the vessels that supply liver tumors (chemo-embolization).
The imaging & Radiology Department has the most Senior and experienced radiologists involved in Diagnosis, Treatment & Interventional procedures. We look forward to offering Nuclear Medicine, which will offer advanced diagnostic capabilities, including PET, SPECT, and bone scans.
