About Me:

Dr. Alain Prince Kubwayo is an Internal Medicine Physician and Cardiology Fellow, with over six years of experience in clinical practice, patient care, and academic medicine. He is dedicated to advancing cardiovascular healthcare through specialized training, evidence-based practice, research, and medical education.

Currently pursuing advanced fellowship training in Cardiology, Dr. Kubwayo is among the first cohort of cardiology fellows in Rwanda, contributing to the country's efforts to strengthen specialized cardiovascular services and improve access to advanced cardiac care. His training has involved collaboration with international academic and clinical partners, enhancing his expertise in the diagnosis and management of complex cardiovascular diseases.

Dr. Kubwayo has a strong interest in preventive cardiology, heart failure management, cardiovascular imaging, and the development of sustainable cardiac care services in Rwanda. He is passionate about delivering patient-centered care while contributing to the growth of specialist training programs and healthcare capacity building.

Alongside his clinical responsibilities, Dr. Kubwayo actively engages in research and academic activities aimed at improving health outcomes and advancing medical knowledge. His commitment to continuous learning and professional excellence reflects his dedication to providing high-quality care and shaping the future of cardiovascular medicine in Rwanda.
