King Faisal Hospital Kigali is looking for suitable candidate to fill the following position

1. Treasury Accountant                                                EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE 
•He/she must have Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• CPA/ACC or Equivalent professional certification is an added advantage.
• He/she must have Three years of Experience as accountant
SKILLS AND ABILITIES •Proficient in accounting software (ERP)
•Strong Microsoft Excel Skills
•Attention to detail and accuracy
•Excellent organizational and time management skills
•Clear and Concise communication
•Analytical and problem-solving abilities
•Team Collaboration and adaptability
•Knowledge of financial regulations and confidentiality
1. Cash Management
• Monitor daily cash transactions and maintain accurate records.
• Forecast cash needs and coordinate with departments to ensure sufficient finds for operations
• Process and reconcile patient refund transactions.
2. Bank Relations
• Ensure good relationships with banks and financial institutions.
• Coordinate with banks to ensure smooth and timely processing of transactions.
• Negotiate terms and conditions for banking services to optimize benefit for the hospital.
3. Bank  Reconciliation
• Conduct weekly bank and mobile money reconciliations to insure accuracy in financial record.
• Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Keep updated bank statements and report any irregularities.
4. Cash Handling procedures
• Maintain effective cash handling procedures.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and policies related to cash transactions.
• Implement and monitor security measures for cash handling.
5. Reporting
• Prepare Accurate and timely financial report related to bank and cash transactions.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits.
• Prepare patient refund float report.
• Prepare daily cash collection report
• Prepare daily bank and cash balance report
6. Compliance
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting principle and hospital policies.
• Stay informed about changes in financial regulations effecting cash and banking activities.
7. Training and Support
• Provide train and support to staff involved in cash-handling process
• Foster a culture of financial responsibility and accountability with the organization.
