About Me:
Dr. Fidele Hakizimana is a Consultant Internist and Adult Cardiology Fellow at King Faisal Hospital Rwanda, dedicated to providing comprehensive, evidence-based care for patients with a wide range of cardiovascular and internal medicine conditions. He combines strong expertise in internal medicine with advanced subspecialty training in cardiology, contributing to the delivery of high-quality cardiac care and improved patient outcomes.
As an Internist currently pursuing fellowship training in Adult Cardiology, Dr. Hakizimana is actively involved in the prevention, diagnosis, and management of cardiovascular diseases. His clinical interests include heart failure, echocardiography, hypertension, ischemic heart disease, cardiac imaging, and the management of complex cardiovascular disorders. He is committed to advancing cardiovascular care through patient-centered practice, continuous learning, and multidisciplinary collaboration. At King Faisal Hospital Rwanda, Dr. Hakizimana works closely with cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, critical care specialists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for patients with acute and chronic cardiac conditions. His practice focuses on delivering evidence-based treatment strategies while promoting preventive cardiology and cardiovascular risk reduction. In addition to his clinical responsibilities, Dr. Hakizimana is passionate about medical education, clinical research, and the advancement of cardiovascular services in Rwanda. He remains committed to expanding access to specialized cardiac care and contributing to the development of future healthcare professionals through mentorship and knowledge sharing.
