King Faisal Hospital Kigali is looking for suitable candidate to fill the following position.

1.DIRECTOR OF FINANCE                                                              EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE   
1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business administration or related field is essential.
2. Having professional courses either CPA or ACCA is an added advantage.
3. Having at least ten years of working experience in finance, in which five years in the role of financial management is essential.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
1. Stakeholder Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with diverse stakeholders, presenting financial information and strategies effectively.
2. Financial Management: Proficiency in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis, ensuring efficient utilization of resources and maximizing financial performance.
3. Strategic Planning: Proven experience in developing and executing financial strategies aligned with organizational goals, driving financial sustainability and growth.
4. Leadership Skills: Strong leadership abilities, including team management, mentoring, and fostering a culture of financial excellence within the finance department.
5. Change Management: Ability to adapt to evolving financial landscapes, embracing innovation and leading financial transformation initiatives within the hospital.
6. Being used to financial systems such as ERP.  
Key Responsibilities:  
1. Develop, implement and regularly review financial management delegations of authority.
2. Develop, implement and regularly review financial management policies.
3. Develop, implement and regularly review financial management operating procedures.
4. Establish and manage the electronic financial data input process to ensure integrity and accuracy.
Monitor the effectiveness of financial operations through the assessment of key financial performance indicators.
5. Facilitate and coordinate the annual budgeting process. Compile monthly budget reports and provide them to the management team. Perform monthly budgetary and expenditure analysis.
6. Coordinate, manage and monitor Hospital cash flows.
7. Effect budget adjustments where necessary. Annually review all fees, charges or the rates, scales or tariffs of fees and charges within the National prescripts.
8. Authorize and monitor employee salaries, deductions and allowances and ensure annual reconciliation of employee tax.
9. Analyze and monitor ledger and debt accounts and debt recovery. 
10. Analyze and monitor income and income collection rates, and bank reconciliations. 
Authorize supplier and creditor payments.
11. Maintain and safeguard all financial documentation relating to the Hospital.
12. Compile the annual financial report and financial statements for each financial year. Liaise with auditors to ensure a smooth audit process.
13. Compile and submit all reports, returns, notices and other information as may be required by the CEO and hospital management and Hospital Board.  
14. Supervise the implementation and management of the Capital Assets Register. 15. Formulate job profiles for all posts within the Unit.
16. Conduct performance appraisals with staff and arrange and monitor individual development.
