Dr. Ntwari Jules

About Me:

Dr. Ntwari Jules is a Consultant Internist and Infectious Disease Specialist with more than 15 years of experience in clinical medicine. He provides specialized expertise in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of complex infectious diseases, while actively contributing to academic teaching and medical research.

He obtained his Master of Medicine in Internal Medicine from the University of Rwanda in 2018. He subsequently completed a subspecialty fellowship in Infectious Diseases at Sorbonne Université, France, in 2024.

Dr. Ntwari has served extensively in public hospitals as a Consultant Internist, playing a key role in the management of a wide range of internal medicine conditions. In addition to his clinical responsibilities, he has made significant contributions to medical education and research, delivering foundational medical sciences, academic instruction, and clinical medicine training to undergraduate medical students.

He is passionate about clinical medicine and the management of complex infectious diseases. Throughout his career, he has played an active role in the teaching and mentorship of medical students and postgraduate Internal Medicine residents. He has also contributed to several initiatives aimed at strengthening infection prevention and control, as well as antimicrobial stewardship programs.

In the field of clinical research, Dr. Ntwari has published articles on the epidemiology and outcomes of multidrug-resistant tuberculosis in Rwanda, as well as the role of adenosine deaminase in the diagnosis of peritoneal tuberculosis in Rwanda.
