About Me:
Dr. Kambutse Immaculate is a Consultant Internist and Pulmonologist with over a decade of clinical experience. She serves as Head of the Department of Internal Medicine at King Faisal Hospital Rwanda (KFH) and Acting Chair of Internal Medicine at African Health Sciences University (AHSU). Dr. Kambutse earned her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (2012) and Master of Medicine in Internal Medicine (2017) from the University of Rwanda. In 2024, she completed subspecialty training in pulmonology at the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire de Brest in France.
Dr. Kambutse provides comprehensive care for adults with complex medical conditions, with particular expertise in respiratory medicine. Her clinical interests include the diagnosis and management of conditions such as Asthma, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, and other respiratory conditions. She is committed to delivering patient-centered, evidence-based care and improving health outcomes. In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Kambutse is actively involved in medical education and research, with interests in pulmonary medicine to improve care delivery and patient outcomes.
