Dr. Sandra Havyarimana is a consultant hematologist at King Faisal Hospital, Rwanda. Her areas of focus are laboratory and haematology consultations. She completed her residency in HaemPath at the University of the Witwatersrand in 2017. After completing medical school and a residency in in HaemPath, she went on to work at a Private laboratory and came to KFH, Rwanda where her work is manily focusing on benign diseases of the blood, coagulation and hemoglobinopathies. Today, her work bridges the laboratory and the clinic, translating complex diagnostic data into clear, actionable answers for physicians and patients. Dr Havyarimana combines morphologic assessment, flow cytometric immunophenotyping, cytogenetic analysis, and molecular diagnostic testing to establish an accurate and comprehensive diagnosis. For her, hematopathology extends beyond laboratory science— it is patient-centered medicine at the microscopic level.
