DR MAHLET- Dr Mahlet Tesfaye is a consultant cardiothoracic surgeon. She was an assistant professor of surgery at Addis Ababa University, College of Health Sciences, School of Medicine & Department of Surgery. She is involved in management of thoracic surgical patients & provision of mentorship to postgraduate & undergraduate students. Dr. Mahlet’s training involved specialization in General Surgery and subspeciality in cardiothoracic surgery. She has been recognized as dedicated leader and best senior by graduating class of residents. Also recognized by TRAC for her extraordinary support in eliminating TB & patient support. She has served as member of executive committees of Ethiopian Medical Association, Ethiopian Thoracic Society and Ethiopian Health Professionals Ethics Review Committee.
