Dr. Francoise is a consultant plastic surgeon at King Faisal Hospital, Rwanda. She is Rwanda’s first female plastic surgeon and recently completed her medical training through Operation Smile’s partnership with the University of Rwanda. She is passionate about breast reconstruction and breast aesthetics and is currently pursuing a breast reconstruction fellowship at UofT. She trained through the college of Surgeons of East Central and southern Africa COSECSA and she is also seen as a role model inspiring more women in Rwanda to pursue careers in surgery.

As a Plastic surgeon, she deals with:

        1. Reconstructive surgery for trauma defects and post cancer resection defects

        2.Congenital hand malformations

        3.Cleft lip and cleft palate

        4.Cosmetic surgery including breast reductions and tummy tucks

        5. Skin cancers treatment

        6.Burns treatment

       7. Abnormal scars treatment

Dr. Francoise Mukagaju is available for Fast Track Clinic on Thursdays from 16:00pm to 19:00pm.
