Dr. Humud David

About Me:

Dr. Humud David is a Medical Officer at King Faisal Hospital Rwanda with extensive experience in clinical medicine, primary healthcare, digital health, and sports medicine. Since joining King Faisal Hospital Rwanda in October 2024, he has been actively involved in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care across a broad range of medical conditions, contributing to the hospital's commitment to clinical excellence and innovation.

Dr. Humud earned his medical degree and has built a diverse career spanning hospital-based care, primary healthcare, telemedicine, healthcare leadership, and sports medicine. His professional journey reflects a strong commitment to improving healthcare accessibility, quality, and patient outcomes through both clinical practice and healthcare management.

Prior to joining King Faisal Hospital Rwanda, Dr. Humud served as Clinical Director at Goodlife Ivuriro Clinic, where he provided clinical leadership, oversaw healthcare service delivery, and supported initiatives aimed at enhancing patient care and operational effectiveness. He also worked as a Medical Doctor with Babylon Rwanda for nearly five years, delivering both in-person and digital healthcare services with a particular focus on the management of chronic illnesses and improving access to quality healthcare through innovative technology-driven solutions.

Beyond his clinical practice, Dr. Humud has made significant contributions to sports medicine and athlete welfare. He served as Head of the Medical Commission for the Rwanda Basketball Federation (FERWABA) from 2017 to 2023, providing medical oversight, advising on athlete health and safety, and supporting the development of healthcare standards within competitive sports.
