About Me:
Dr. Francoise is a consultant plastic surgeon at King Faisal Hospital, Rwanda. She is Rwanda’s first female plastic surgeon and recently completed her medical training through Operation Smile’s partnership with the University of Rwanda. She is passionate about breast reconstruction and breast aesthetics and is currently pursuing a breast reconstruction fellowship at UofT. She trained through the College of Surgeons of East Central and Southern Africa (COSECSA), and she is also seen as a role model inspiring more women in Rwanda to pursue careers in surgery.
