Dr. Madeleine Uwamahoro

About Me:

Dr. Madeleine Uwamahoro is a Dental Surgeon and certified orthodontist who serves as Head of Dental Services at King Faisal Hospital Rwanda. She holds a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Virgen Milagrosa University Foundation in the Philippines and completed postgraduate training with the Academy of Fixed Orthodontics as well as Dental Implant training from DIO Implants, Philippines and the African University of Health Sciences.

With over a decade of clinical experience, Dr. Uwamahoro provides comprehensive oral and dental care across preventive, restorative, periodontal, endodontic, prosthodontic, and orthodontic services. Her particular areas of interest include orthodontics, dental aesthetics, prosthodontics, and implant dentistry.

Dr. Uwamahoro has undertaken advanced training in Orthodontics, Implant Dentistry, Mediation, and Rwandan Sign Language. She is committed to compassionate, patient-centred care and takes a holistic approach that considers each patient’s clinical and emotional needs.

Alongside her clinical practice, Dr. Uwamahoro leads clinical education within Oral and Dental Surgery Services at King Faisal Hospital and has served as an honorary clinical instructor in prosthodontics and restorative dentistry at the University of Rwanda. She remains committed to strengthening dental education, quality care, and positive patient outcomes.
