Progress Update

International Contractor Site Visit

On April 17, 2024, seven prequalified international contractors conducted a site visit to assess project requirements before submitting proposals. This marks a critical milestone in bringing the KFHR Horizon 2050 Expansion Project to fruition.

Groundbreaking Ceremony

On July 22, 2024, His Excellency President Paul Kagame officiated the groundbreaking ceremony, marking the commencement of construction to elevate King Faisal Hospital Rwanda’s capacity from 167 to 567 beds — a major milestone in the hospital’s long-term vision.
