CHIEF DIGITAL OFFICER

Loving challenges and passionate about technology that makes positive impacts on people, especially in the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors, Olivier WATRIN serves as the Chief Digital Officer at King Faisal Hospital. As the Chief Digital Officer, Olivier is leading the Hospital’s digital transformation initiative.

He holds a Master’s degree in Medical Physics and over 5 years of experience in information technology working in

top European institutions. He is specialized in IT management for pharmaceutical and healthcare industries.

Olivier’s skills and center of interests match the needs of King Faisal Hospital and one of his goals is to greatly improve the patients and health professionals journeys and experience by embracing a paperless approach and a secure quick access to information. Oliver believes that with the right people, technology will transform to the better the health care ecosystem and he is keen to make that happen at KFH.

Under his leadership are the HMIS & ICT unit : Hospital Management Information System supports planning, management, and decision making in the hospital. Information and Communications Technology deals with the development, maintenance, and use of computer and telecommunication systems within the hospital.
