Manuals for all equipment easily available Manage the loading and the chemicals used in dishwashers, and all other pieces of equipment. Participate in Equipment safeguarded in line with asset management requirements, as determined during the annual asset stocktaking. Insure that all Infection Prevention and Control Infections Policy and Procedures are followed Ensure that all Health and Safety Policies and Procedures pertinent to the catering division are followed Day-to-day issues and problems resolved, including management of complaints, in accordance with Hospital standards. Monitoring of all cleaning processes to ensure a high level of hygiene Monitoring the health of the personnel to prevention contamination of the food. Cuts and abrasions are attended to by the Staff Health clinic Doctor or Professional Nurse and treated by covering before the staff member is able to work in the kitchen areas. Pre-planned service for all pieces of equipment to prevent Cleaning Materials stock levels controlled and maintained. First in First out (FIFO) rotational systems maintained Policies and Procedures detailing specifics for the cleaning of all areas of the Catering Services to be emphasised to all personnel Make sure the All storage areas kept under lock and key Participating in Data base maintenance of all inventories conducted with graphs for easy identification of usage/ underutilization and loss of stock Strict use of stocks to prevent spoilage of uncooked | 1 |
